Galvanizing requirements

Tell us what your drawing or project specifies. If you are unsure, write “not specified” so we can clarify before quoting.

Coating adds material. Include any mating surfaces or hole clearances that must fit after finishing. We review feasibility before accepting the job.

Include material and thickness, dimensions or a drawing, quantities per part, finish, critical tolerances, delivery ZIP code and your target date. For bending, include the finished shape or formed STEP/STP model if available, bend lengths, model thickness and critical angles; drawings are optional. For CNC machining, include the STEP/STP solid if available, material grade, overall dimensions, critical tolerances, threads and surface-finish requirements. For galvanizing, include any coating specification and holes or threads that must fit after coating. Unsure about something? Tell us what you know.
You may upload up to 5 files, with a maximum size of 5 MB per file. Accepted file types: PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP/STP, JPG, JPEG, PNG, and ZIP.
Flat laser-cut sheet or plate: DXF/DWG 2D profile or a flat STEP/STP solid.
Bent sheet-metal part: STEP/STP solid of the finished, formed shape; include a drawing for bend details if available.
CNC-machined part: STEP/STP solid of the finished part, plus a drawing for critical tolerances, threads and notes.
PDF: dimensioned drawing or requirements for shop review.
JPG/JPEG/PNG: photos or sketches to explain your request; include dimensions.
ZIP: several related CAD files, drawings or photos in one attachment. Drawings and images can start a manual review; they do not provide 3D geometry for a Rapid Quote.
