CNC Laser Cutting Services

Precision laser cutting for sheet and plate metal parts, backed by real manufacturing capability in the USA.

Precision Laser Cutting Backed by Real Manufacturing Support

Many metal parts begin with laser cutting. It is often the fastest and most efficient way to produce precise flat parts, brackets, tabs, gussets, plates, panels, and other sheet or plate metal components.

At Rapid CNC Parts.com, our laser cutting service is designed to support more than simple cut profiles alone. We help customers move from design to production with access to laser cutting, CNC machining, bending, fabrication, welding, and finishing when the project requires it.

Whether you need a quick-turn flat part or support for a larger assembly, repeat order, or production job, we are building Rapid CNC Parts.com to serve both.

Fast Quotes for Standard Work. Manual Review for More Complex Projects.

Rapid CNC Parts.com is built to support two clear paths.

For straightforward parts, customers can use our Rapid Quote workflow to upload files and move quickly.

For more involved projects, including jobs that may require fabrication, assemblies, tighter review, special requirements, or additional discussion, customers can use our Request a Manual Quote page to connect directly with our team.

This gives customers a practical way to move quickly when the job is simple, while still having access to real support when the project requires more.

Why Choose Our Laser Cutting Services

Fast online quoting is an important part of the customer experience, but many real-world projects require more than a simple upload-and-order workflow.

Our laser cutting services are built for customers who may need:

  • Manufacturability review
  • Help selecting the right process
  • Secondary machining
  • CNC bending or forming
  • Fabrication and welding
  • Repeat production support
  • Manual quoting for more involved jobs

That means Rapid CNC Parts.com can support both fast digital quoting and deeper project review when needed.

Laser Cut Parts for a Wide Range of Applications

We support a broad range of laser-cut sheet and plate metal parts, including:

  • Brackets
  • Plates
  • Panels
  • Tabs and gussets
  • Mounting components
  • Enclosure parts
  • Weld-ready components
  • Production flat patterns
  • Parts that require secondary machining or bending

Our laser cutting capability is a strong fit for prototype parts, short runs, repeat production, and components used in larger fabricated assemblies.

Built for Industrial and Production Work

Our laser cutting services are well suited for customers in:

  • Industrial manufacturing
  • Fabrication and welding
  • Equipment and machinery
  • Product development
  • OEM and contract work
  • Energy and utility-related projects
  • Data center and infrastructure-related builds

As demand grows for dependable domestic suppliers, many customers need more than a shop that can simply cut a profile. They need a team that can review the project, understand how the part will be used, and support follow-on operations when required.

That is the direction we are building toward.

Laser Cutting Capabilities

Our fiber laser cutting system is designed to produce accurate, repeatable sheet and plate metal components across a wide range of industrial applications. Using high-power fiber laser technology, we can process complex geometries while maintaining consistent dimensional accuracy and efficient production speeds.

Our 12kW fiber laser allows us to efficiently process both sheet and thicker plate materials while maintaining reliable cutting performance across production runs.

Because laser cutting requires minimal tooling and setup time, it is well suited for both prototype work and repeat production where speed, accuracy, and consistency are important.

Cutting Methods and Edge Quality

Our laser system supports both high-pressure air cutting and nitrogen-assisted cutting, allowing us to select the most appropriate cutting method based on the material and the intended application of the part.

The system can also produce select chamfered and countersunk features directly during the cutting process, reducing the need for secondary machining operations on qualifying parts.

High-Pressure Air Cutting

High-pressure air cutting is commonly used for many carbon steel parts. This process allows efficient cutting speeds while maintaining accurate geometry, making it a strong fit for structural components, weld-ready parts, and production work where efficiency and reliability are important.

Nitrogen-Assisted Cutting

Nitrogen cutting produces a bright, oxide-free edge by preventing oxidation during the cutting process. This method is typically used for stainless steel, cosmetic parts, or components that require a clean edge for coating or finishing.

The cutting method is determined by the material, part geometry, and required edge finish to ensure the best balance of edge quality, production efficiency, and manufacturing reliability.

Secondary Operations

One of the biggest advantages of working with Rapid CNC Parts.com is the ability to support parts that go beyond a simple flat cut blank.

CNC Machining

Add precision-machined features after laser cutting, including holes, bores, tapped threads, counterbores, tight-tolerance surfaces, and other secondary operations that require more than a cut profile alone.

CNC Bending

Form laser-cut parts into finished components with accurate bends for brackets, covers, panels, enclosures, and other parts that need more than flat pattern cutting.

Fabrication and Welding

Combine laser-cut components into larger assemblies with welding and fabrication support for projects that require more complete manufacturing beyond individual flat parts.

Deburring and Finishing

Improve part handling, appearance, and downstream readiness with deburring and finishing processes that help remove sharp edges, reduce burrs, and prepare parts for assembly, coating, or final use.

Repeat Production Workflows

Support ongoing production with repeatable processes for parts that move beyond one-off quoting into scheduled runs, recurring demand, and longer-term manufacturing needs.

More than Cutting Alone

Depending on the material and application, our laser cutting capability can also support value-added features such as countersinking and engraving on select materials. These options can help streamline production, improve part identification, and reduce secondary operations on qualifying jobs.

Materials

Our laser cutting service is currently launching with carbon steel materials first. As we continue expanding this capability, we plan to phase in additional materials, including aluminum and stainless steel.

If your project requires a material that is not currently listed, please Request a Manual Quote and our team will review the project with you.

You can also visit our Materials page for additional information. Supported laser cutting materials and thickness ranges will continue to be updated as this service expands.

Quality Inspection & Part Verification

Inspection using Calipers to Measuring Part

Quality is built into our workflow from the start. We review part requirements carefully and verify critical features as needed to help ensure parts are produced to the agreed specification before shipment.

Our quality process may include:

  • Inspection of critical dimensions and key features
  • Drawing-based review and verification when requested or when drawings are provided
  • First-article inspection on request
  • In-process checks for repeatability across production runs
  • Documentation and reporting support when required

For projects that include secondary processes or tighter tolerance requirements, additional inspection steps can be incorporated as part of the process.

Quality isn’t an add-on — it’s a core part of how we work.
