For stainless steel, carbon steel, other alloys, or projects outside the standard process, request a manual quote so our team can review your requirements.

Aluminum Parts for Rapid Quote
Our initial Instant Quote and Rapid Process offering focuses on aluminum parts made from stocked bar, supporting quick turnaround with standardized tooling and a 3-axis machining workflow.
Use the following stock envelopes as a size guide when preparing your part:
Square Bar
6 inches × 6 inches × 12 inches long
Flat Bar
2 inches × 8 inches × 12 inches long
Your finished part must fit inside one of these stock envelopes, with sufficient material allowance for machining and workholding. These are stock sizes, so a finished part at the full envelope dimensions may require manual review. Final eligibility depends on the part geometry, tool access and available stock.
- Aluminum is the initial material for online Rapid Quotes.
- Best suited to accessible pockets, slots, holes and flat or prismatic features that follow our machining design guidelines.
- Standard dimensional tolerance for supported online-quoted parts: ±0.005 inch.
- Include a drawing for threads, critical dimensions and special requirements. Tighter tolerances, other materials, larger parts and features outside the standard process require a manual quote.
Confirm material availability and production timing for deadline-sensitive work.

We offer finishing support for machined parts when required, including common secondary services such as deburring, edge refinement, bead blasting, tumbling, engraving, and other case-by-case finishing options coordinated through trusted partners.
Finishing availability may vary by project and is not part of the standard Rapid Quote workflow. If your project requires finishing beyond standard machining, please request a manual quote.

Standard Machining Tolerances
Supported parts quoted through our online machining system have a standard dimensional tolerance of ±0.005 inch (±0.127 mm).
For example, a 1.000-inch dimension with this tolerance may measure from 0.995 to 1.005 inches.
Tighter or custom tolerances, critical fits, position or geometric controls, and dimensional relationships between features across multiple setups require manual review before ordering. Include these requirements on your drawing and confirm them with the shop.
